In this 50 minute course, Dr. Margaret Davis reviews five zoonotic diseases of importance to a veterinary hospital. The diseases covered are: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococci, Leptospirosis, Salmonellosis, Rabies, and Cryptosporidiosis. For each of these the following topics will be covered:
- Common signs in animals,
- Common symptoms in humans,
- Mode of transmission, and
- Prevention measures.
