In this 50 minute course, Dr. Margaret Davis reviews five zoonotic diseases of importance to a veterinary hospital.  The diseases covered are: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococci, Leptospirosis, Salmonellosis, Rabies, and Cryptosporidiosis.  For each of these the following topics will be covered:

  • Common signs in animals,
  • Common symptoms in humans,
  • Mode of transmission, and
  • Prevention measures.
