Sadie - Feb 08, 2013
We rescued Sadie in 2005 via the Seattle Pure Bred Dog Rescue at the age of five. We had had several Scotish Deerhounds and an Borzoi that died too young from torsion/bloat or osteosarcoma.

My wife saw her picture and said "can we have her knowing she already has one foot in the grave."  [...]

Jack's Unexpected Friend~

Letter to Romeo

Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou, my tough little guy Romeo, aka Romey-yo-yo, aka Romsky?

You were the goofiest, most lovable, tenacious, brave soul I have ever had the privilege of knowing. You touched all those that knew you, young or old and gave everything you had  [...]
Maggie - Feb 03, 2013
In memory of my beautiful, sweet Maggie the dachshund, our time together was much too short. I will never get over the shock and sadness of her January 15, 2013 diagnosis of metastastic lung cancer, rapid decline, and gentle death at home in her bed on January 24, 2013.

Maggie is preceded  [...]
