Puff was true to her name, a perfect 6 pounds of Pomeranian fluff. She was intensely loyal to those she chose to love. A tomboy disguised as a princess, she fiercely defended the yard from any squirrel, bunny or duck who happened to invade her space. She once took on flock of Canada geese! She was an adventurer, and if not closely watched, would disappear into the neighborhood exploring the world around her. She loved to run and boy could those short legs cover a lot of ground, FAST! While the rest of the family welcomed a new puppy, Puff at 4 years old, was not as enthusiastic. She wasn't too happy about the arrival of grandchildren either, cautiously welcoming them. My granddaughter once said to me after a dog sitting weekend, "Grandma, they're our dogs too!" Thank you precious princess for eleven years of love!
