Our cat Kinky came to us in June 1993, 6 weeks old and full of life. Through the years she began to develop her personality by sitting on my shoulders when I would do computer work or she would sit and look up at you while cooking in the kitchen. After she grew, she began to sleep on my chest and always took her place at night at the foot of the bed. She loved the outdoors and would always come in after she’d had her time out. She never got used to the winters so she stayed inside and would curl up in front of the fireplace on the ottoman. My baby girl lost most of her hearing in her geriatric years and we had to be careful to let her know we were around so as to not startle her. After 20 great years of companionship she came home today, July 22, 2013, for the last time. She’s now next to her sister and is no longer in pain. Goodbye Kinky, we love you.
