Lady was my first horse. Bill bought her for me right after we married in 2001. I had always wanted a horse, but was really never around them until we met when our spouses had died. Lady didn’t have much experience or training, so that made two of us. Fortunately I stumbled on Clinton Anderson’s tapes and took it from there. I can say we learned together—more like she learned in spite of me. She was a beautiful girl I dearly loved and I believe she knew that since I always told her. With COPD and an Esophagus problem, it was time to call her vet and let her go just before Christmas 2013.
