Bella

A donation was made in memory of Bella by Dr. Robert Katz and Dr. Raul Ortiz-Umpierre at Stuart Animal Hospital on Oct 18, 2019.

On September 23, 2019, our beautiful, sweet Bella gained her Angel Wings and crossed over Rainbow Bridge. She was 13-1/2 and from the time she arrived in our home, she stole our hearts as well as that if her big sister, Clara. They were inseparable. Bella’s travel tales began when she arrived into Boston, from Europe, as a Lagotto Romagnolo puppy. Although that was her only airplane ride, she chalked up thousands of miles in the car during her lifetime. Our twice yearly migration, to Florida from Connecticut and back, found her staying at horse farms, doggie resorts, golf resorts and more Marriotts than we can count. Bella was a seasoned traveler, always on best behavior, thanks in part to her work as an AKC certified therapy dog, Hospet (hospice visitor) and Canine Good Citizen. She knew when to spread love and be low key, and when to kick up her paws, running in her Connecticut backyard, her Palm City dog park or doing agility. (She was a speed demon). She loved car rides, golf cart rides and for 11-1/2 years long, long walks. For the past 2 years she took to her stroller with a big grin and a thumping tail. We know Bella is whole again and running free with our late Tinkerbell, waiting until we are reunited. Thank you, Bella, for your unconditional love, your huge smiles, and all the beautiful memories you have left us.😘🐾
