No cat could rock a lap or a nap like Carlos. He was the most contented cat ever. A yellow tabby (my favorite!), he became one of our first pets (along with Blanca) when we moved into our first home in 2000. Friendly, stubby-tailed Carlos "chose us" on our visit to the local Humane Society, and he shared our lives for the next 13 years. He filled our lives with fun, and we adored him! We miss his "barking" (and his dog-like demeanor), his cuddling, and his penchant for floor spinning, rug "riding," hanging upside down, and head butting.
We lost our sweet "Buddy" (to lymphoma) on February 26, 2013. We would like to thank the many kind vets and assistants at Zillah Veterinary Clinic, Companion Animal Clinic, and Yakima Valley Veterinary Clinic who gently diagnosed and treated Carlos and provided comfort to both cat and owners as we said our final goodbyes. We are particularly grateful to Yakima Valley Veterinary Clinic for their thoughtful donation on Carlos's behalf to the WSU Pet Memorial Program.
