As a kitten I slipped out of a car in a parking lot and, lucky me, was found by a Furry Friends cat rescue member.
She took me to their shelter and attempted to find my owner. No chip, no luck, so I was placed in their wonderful adoption program. After shots, chip and, yes, neutered, I was adopted by some very lucky folks. They say I am probably a Siberian, but who cares, I got a great home and lots of love. They named me
Alastair but could have changed it because it should have been Einstein. I could do things that amazed my folks, like picking up and putting my fuzzy ball back in the maze when it rolled out or knowing that when my mouse went under the entertainment center cabinet I could squeeze past the TV and get it out by myself. I spent 7 happy years talking and playing with my people but was not able to avoid a corona virus mutation that developed into always fatal FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). My parents tried but science has not yet developed a cure for this deadly disease and they had to let me go. I know they loved me dearly and would have done anything for me but it was hopeless. They miss me greatly and I will always be with them in their memory.
