Jimmy was our sweetest and most content cat. He was a simple boy, happy with a comfy bed, patch of sun, and food to eat -- especially the food. He was a big (chubby, yes, but also quite long), strong cat who didn't always know when to stop wrestling with his brothers, and he was a great cuddler. He had a surprisingly strong meow (deeper than usual and he'd project it like an opera singer) even when we brought him home as a 4 month old. When we'd dangle wand or string toys for him, he would put his entire soul into playing--absolutely heedless of what was around him--and then he'd get overstimulated and put himself into timeout. He liked sleeping under the covers and was a master of solo tunneling. Jimmy was a true joy in our lives and we expected to have him with us a lot longer than 8 years; we miss him very much.
