I named Tonto after the Lone Ranger's faithful friend and boy did he live up to his name. He was my best and most faithful companion for 16.5 years. He was a small but mighty 17lb Westie/Havanese mix who loved retrieving at impossibly high speeds more than almost anything. He could sniff out a tennis ball in the car from inside the house. I'll be finding hidden tennis balls for years to come. His second favorite pastime was giving the barking business to anyone who entered the house. His unconditional love will be imprinted on me forever and on so many others he knew and loved. RIP Tonto "Bubba" Gray. See you again someday. Go Cougs.
