William
William, our gentle and loving orange tabby, passed away on June 12,
2008. He was born in Seattle on April 25, 1993, along with his sister
Nefertari, who passed away on April 30, 2007. He was fortunate to live
his entire life with his mother The
Barefoot Contessa. William was a very intelligent cat. It did not take
him long to figure out what door handles could do. He would reach up and
let us know he wanted out. He also figured out that glasses held water and
would reach out with his paw to let us know he was thirsty. He spent many
years of his life on San Juan Island where he made friends with a feral
cat. He leaves a big void in our lives. We will miss him forever.
