In Memory of Our Beloved...

Tango

  Tango

Tango left us on May 29th, 2008.

Tango was brought to us on Christmas Day 1994 from our good friend David with a bow on her head!

He found two little feral cats under this porch at age 2 weeks maybe- mother gone. He named them skitters and skatters!

Not sure if we got skitters or skatters? I was into naming my cats (I've had a few!!!) dance names as I have done some dancing!--o.k. Thus, came the name Tango because she was "slinking around the house!

Unfortunately in 1995 she got bitten by possibly a possum and had several surgeries to take out the poison. The last surgery was actually a liposuction. She lived fine for the next 13 years.

In the past month, she developed a baseball size lump on the back leg that was operated on 13 years ago. The vet opened it up and did some testing; it turned out to be a malignant tumor which wouldn't heal.  We kept her on antibiotics and tried to decide when to have her "put to sleep." I prayed to find the answer and my path was to my good neighbor Jonette who helped me make th edecision. John came home and we had a sedative for her ashes preserved in an urn. Attached are photos of our beautiful cat Tango.
