In Memory of Our Beloved...

Max

  Max

We got Max as a large puppy from a pet rescue place. Max survived an abusive puppyhood and being hit by a car before we got him and then major surgery at the veterinary hospital in Pullman and chemotherapy. Max was very vocal and liked everyone. He turned into 110 pounds of love shaped into a bundle that looked like a german shepard.

My two most vivid memories of Max are seeing him strutting our fence line and grinning because he chased a squirrel out of his yard and coming home from work one day and finding our daughter sitting beside him on the floor spoon feeding him Chunky soup after a chemo session because that was all he would eat.

Thank you for the opportunity to tell others about this special boy. He has been gone several months now but we still miss him everyday.
