We rescued Hamlet from the Basset Rescue Society of San Diego in May
1992, where I was living at the time. He was just 6 weeks old. A year and a
half later we moved to the Seattle area. We've participated in the annual
Woodinville Basset Bash parade/dog show, and spent lots of time at the
different parks and beachs of western Washington. Hamlet was loved very much
by my wife and I. But even more so by our other dog, Arthur, and our cats.
When ever we had the woodstove going, Hamlet was the first to grab the best
spot. Then several cats would snuggle up against him. We will miss him
always.
