In Memory of Our Beloved...

Bear

  Bear

Our 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback was diagnosed with Lymphoma on February 2nd of 2007.  His prognosis was poor due to the aggressive form of cancer.  We had no idea that you could do Chemotherapy on a dog, but when we were given the option to treat him, there was no question - we started treatment that very day at the WSU vet hospital.  Within a few weeks, Bear was back to his old self, playing, eating, full of energy - it was amazing.  Every day we are thankful that we treated him......it gave us another whole year with our sweet boy.  Sadly, on January 18th of 2008 we said goodbye to our beloved Bear.  We will love him forever and are so thankful for the too short time he blessed us with his wonderful presence.

We cannot say enough about the Doctors, Students and Staff at the WSU Vet Hospital.  From the very first day we were there, the compassion they showed Bear and us was amazing.  We will always remember their kindness.

Our family would also like to thank Dr. Prickett and her staff at Animal World Vet Clinic in Moses Lake.  We will forever be grateful for their care of Bear during his life and throughout his Chemotherapy treatments and helping us the day of his passing.

Bear was loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly. Goodbye Sweet Boy - you will forever be in our hearts.
