Rani
"My Life With Rani"...
I found this gorgeous little long haired Chihuahua puppy running
around with her brothers at the age of 3 weeks
old. I fell in love with her straight away, I knew she was going to be
mine. ( She chose me too )
She was my constant companion, she loved her walks, loved to come
with us in the car. Slept on my bed.
She melted everybody's heart. Loved to socialise, meet people and
play with their pets. She was spoilt rotten.
Rani went into Kidney failure, spent a week on a drip in the Vet
Clinic where we'd visit her morning and night.
Towards the end of her life she was being syrynge fed on high
protein Vet canned food. But she slowly went downhill. Her Kidneys
did not respond to treatment, so we bought her home to spend her
final 6 days with us, ''knowing'' we had this time with her was very
precious.
She had a heart murmur for about two years, controlled by
medication. I had to put Rani to sleep on the 24th November, 2006.
She would have been 10 years old on the 14th December, 2006.

This was my final ''Act of Love for Rani'', to end her suffering.
The hardest thing I have ever had to do. Her loss is so
heart-wrenching, we have lost the most cherished thing in the world.
She was so brave, she fought the battle and lost. I have Rani buried
(with her own little memorial and plaque) just outside my back door
beneath my Jasmine Bush where I sit and talk to her all the time.
I'll never forget the happiness and joy she bought to me and my
family, to all those who knew her and loved her. She has given us
two of her beautiful daughters,
Marley and
Mia... Now my 3 babies are together again.
Sleep on Rani.. We'll Meet Again over the "Rainbow Bridge"
Darling.
So Sadly missed.
Your Mum.
