Whitney
A dog like Whitney is hard to come by, we got her from the Humaine
society in '97,She was a Whippet/dingo mix, That we named after Mnt.
Whitney, the highest in the lower 48. Whitney quickly became known for her
speed, there are many stories of her running full out (with pack
on) out of sight, quickly to return and do it again.The number of miles that
she hicked with us is unknown but there were many.from the rain soaked
nights the three of us spent in a two man tent,to the hick up Granite Mnt.
on Snoqualme pass when I proposed to my wife, she was always there, and will
be greatly missed.
