Tally
My beloved springer spaniel Tally was diagnosed with terminal cancer on
October 12, 2007. Luckily, I was able to spend her final two weeks
with her saying goodbye--supporting her as she slowed down and started to
make her way into her next life. Even the day before she died, we had a
great trip to the beach in unseasonably warm, sunny weather. I'm grateful
for the memories of the adventures I shared with my very best,
four-legged friend. I've no doubt she's on the beach and playing in
the waves right now....or bouncing up a trail in the high Cascades.... I'm
sure gonna miss her.
