Makition
Makition was an old Tb that I took over as a project horse. One of
those old guys off the track who had some baggage and needed some love.
I only had him a short 2 years but I like to think that he had a happy last
few years and got the most love and attention that he needed to make up for
what he didn't get in the past. He was a friend and a sweetie. A horse
that learned to greet you with a whinny and come to your call. Losing
a horse is not a new experience for me but it is always very difficult.
I'm very touched at the thought of a memorial and a big thanks goes out to
the Dr. that came out in the middle of the night to try to save him. I
miss him and I'll miss him always.
