Sweet “Georgia” Brown was my shadow for almost 13 years. She was a very intelligent, beautiful and happy choc lab that has left me with many fond memories. One memory that will stay with me was her habit of spontaneously leaning over and resting her head on my chest when we were sitting in the car quietly. She would hold her head there for about a minute as though she was listening to my heart beat or I wasn’t sure if this was just her way of hugging me. All I know is that the world would stop for both of us for that brief moment. She is a dearly missed family member that was truly loved and she returned the affection many times over.
