Dimmer
She came into my life as a young stray, that was living on a hill behind
my workplace. The staff finally captured her and took her to a local vet who
felt that she would not make it through the week.
She did, and after the vet did a search and came up empty, I paid the bill
and adopted her.
She was in my life for almost 15 years and I consider the day that I adopted
her, one of the luckiest in my life.
I won't go into all of the overused platitudes.
She was simply the best.
My veterinary clinic, Elliott Bay Animal Hospital, made a donation to the
WSU Vet. School and I was happy, as an WSU Alum (B.S. Biology "79), to do
the same, in her name "Dimmer" and the caring staff and vets at Elliott Bay.
Thank You for this opportunity for all of us that have lost a pet, to
share our stories.
