  Sasha

I adopted Sasha six years ago from the Seattle Pet Shelter. Her records were sketchy but we think she was 12-14 years old when she left us. She was a beautiful and sweet dog. She would spin when it was time for walks and then sit so pretty waiting for the leash to be put on her. While she was sitting, her tail would move back and forth on the floor so fast all you could hear was swish, swish, swish. When she lay on the floor and we approached her to rub her belly, her tail would pound the floor with a joyous thump, thump, thump. She loved swimming at Magnuson Park and was a proud retriever of balls thrown into the water for other dogs.

I miss her deeply and I still listen for her breathing when I go to bed at night. I love you Sasha. I’ll see you on the rainbow bridge.

and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die.
