Brandie was a senior "special needs" adoption from Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue (www.yorkierescue.com) and I became her new Forever Mommy. Her medical needs were so small, and her heart so big. Brandie loved to cuddle and to be kissed. She took her medicine so sweetly every day in Squirt Cheese. She soaked up all the love she could and was happiest in my arms. She lived ten months with me until her heart finally failed and she was put to sleep yesterday. I held her head in my hands as her tiny sparkle faded away.
