Shelley was put to rest on August 20, 2006. She was 17 years old. Shelley  was born in Oregon just outside Portland. We traveled 12 hours from San Francisco to get her at the age of 8 weeks. She spent 3 years in Hong Kong with us and traveled to the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club stables with me, six days a week. Then she lived in a suburb of Chicago with us for 4 1/2 years. We moved to Washington state about 8 years ago. We miss her terribly.
