Precious, (nickname Poopy) adopted me in 1990 and then became Daddy's girl when I met my husband. She was a very sweet, maternal, funny, loving and bossy spirit. So motherly that when our son was born she always napped with him and when we brought another kitty (Pixie) into the family, Precious groomed her until she was three years old. She made her presence and her opinion known when we visited Drs. Alexander and Newnham only purring once in the 13 years she was cared for by them and that was when Dr. Alexander was pregnant. She was an amazing girl and we are lucky to have shared 16 years with her.
