Our Max truly knew what it meant to be “rescued”, and he rescued us in return every day he was with us. When we got him at the age of two, we didn’t even know if he could bark because he was so scared from being in a shelter. But he became fiercely loyal and protective and was always there for us, our only child. We did nothing without consulting Max. We miss him so much every day and he will forever be in our hearts.
