  Max

Max joined our family at the age of about 2. He had been abused and abandoned in Minnesota and was rescued and brought to Montana as a gift to our family. Max had personality and loved being a "ham" in the silly and sometimes practical clothing which he donned proudly and playfully. He was a constant companion for our daughter when she was confined with extended illnesses. Max had such a loving personality and exemplified simplicity in that his joy was found in the love and companionship of a growing family for 12 years. He always looked forward to someone coming home from college in the past few years. Even as he aged, experienced seizures and lost his senses of smell, sight, hearing and taste, Max never lost the desire to be held and cuddled and he knew when it was time to enter "doggy heaven".                               Steve and Pauline T.
