  Jade

This is our beloved Jade. She was born in 1997 and we got her at about six weeks old. The people we got her from found her near death abandoned in a field. They took care of her until she was well but gave her away because they could not keep her permanently. She was a great dog. Two years ago we found out she had cancer and she took Chemo treatments and responded very well.

Recently, we were camping with her and she fell after swimming and broke her leg. We brought

  her to the veterinary hospital and found that she had a tumor in her leg. Her doctor said it was pretty advanced and that she would not live more than a few weeks. We did not want her to suffer at all, so we chose to have her put to sleep. Jade led a very fulfilling life and you would never see her without her tennis ball. Thank you for the opportunity to share Jade’s story. She is greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
