Emmy was my best and most faithful friend for 15 years.  She was born April 1st, 1991 but was no fool.  I so admired her tenacity and courage.  I swear that Emmy was not afraid of any creature, two legged or four.  Only the noise of the vacuum sent her under the bed.  She made me laugh and comforted me when I was sad or lonely.  I will miss her for the rest of my life.
