  Crickett

I found Cricket under a shrub in my front yard when she was around 4 weeks old. She was a very tiny orange tabby kitten who made funny little squeaky noises. I picked her up and she immediately curled up under my chin. She was one of about 6 kittens born to a mother cat someone had abandoned. I tried to approach the rest of the litter, but was met with hisses and growls and was never able to get the trust of the mother. I really did not want another cat, as I already had two, but somehow Cricket knew she was going to spend the next 13 years as part of my family. She grew into a beautiful 10 pound cat who loved to have her picture taken. She lived with kidney failure for about a year and a half and finally could not fight the battle any longer.
