The saying "Dogs are a man's best friend" is true. Chen Lei was our best friend. We came home every day from work greeted warmly by her. All of our family were excited to come over just to play in the yard with her. She was not only loved by our family, but those who would come over for a quick visit. Even though she suffered for a short amount of time we feel that she lived a happy life. She loved going with "Dad" fishing or hunting. She cared little where, as long as she got to go. She is now forever overlooking the mountain that she loved so much.
