Candie was a darling little buff female Cocker Spaniel and came into my life through Seattle Cocker Spaniel rescue in December, 1998.  Candie was an extremely bright dog.  Candie loved and delighted in all sorts of fun with a robust enthusiasm.  Candie loved to play ball and learned to volley the ball back to me with her nose.  Candie died from the unrelenting disease of Congestive Heart Failure.  Candie demonstrated ongoing bravery and great love for me as she knew how much I loved her.  I miss her terribly but I know she is at peace.  Candie was and will always be a cherished and beloved member of my family.
