  Toby

We found Toby at the Oregon Humane Society when he was 3 months old, a darling puppy, and he grew up to be a very gently and loving dog. He was a husky/german shepard mix. At two years old he came down with Gran Mal seizures and was put on heavy meds, for 5 more years he lived with the occasional seizures, but then the meds no longer were working. Our dear sweet Toby passed away in October and we miss him dearly. One story we would like to mention, is he was let out of our back yard early one morning by an intruder and couldn't figure how to get back in.

We live a block from the hospital and he made his way to the hospital about 7:00 am , he went to the entrance, through two double automatic doors (he weighed 100lbs, so was able to open the doors that way) and he went through the lobby , and down three halls to diagnostics, unnoticed by anyone! some nice nurses found him and took care of him until we were able to get him back) we think it is because his daddy Scott took him to the hospital entrance to get the paper on Sundays, he remembered the hospital. Toby is missed by our family, his mom, me..Sue, Scott and our daughter Amy.
