  Simba

Simba was one of those cats that knew things intuitively. If you didn't feel well or had a bad day, she would come lay next to you and keep you company. She loved to lay on your pillow and would sleep there all night purring, if you would let her. She was a laid back cat and had our other cat do the "leg work" when it came to requesting food at meal times. She reminded me of a "Kitty Godfather" in our household. She lived longer than the veterinarians estimated she would after she got the diagnosis of cancer.

She was in such pain and so uncomfortable towards the end, and we knew it was a matter of putting her needs before our selfish needs of holding onto our beloved pet. Even when she took her final breathes she was still purring. The compassion and sensitivity of our veterinary clinic during that difficult time will always be remembered
