Jenny
Jenny was unique—she always thought she was “people” and I never
told her differently. When she was little she hid from me. I hunted
all over the house calling her name—not a peep. I finally found her
in the recycle bin.
She so enjoyed going to the Elliott Bay Animal Hospital as they made
a fuss over her, but when we brought her home she made out that she
was on a race track, running as fast as she could from room to room.
One time I had a box of chocolates on an end table. When I left the
house she pushed a foot stool over to the chocolates. When I came
home what a mess of my white rug!
