Caesar
Augusten
Our little pom-a-poo dog, Caesar “Ceez”, became a part of our family
when he was only 8 weeks old. He was a faithful and constant
companion to his human “mommy and daddy” for 16 years. He loved to
sit up, do the “cookie dance”, or play with his rubber ball
“squeaky” for a special treat. He followed his human “mommy”
everywhere, even room to room in our home. His love and devotion to
those around him was unconditional and our love for Ceez was the
same. He was our “baby”.

This last year, because of a mild stroke, Ceez lost his hearing and his left front and rear legs were
weakened. And, besides arthritis which bothered him quite a bit, his
eyesight was poor because of cataracts. It has only been about a
month since we had to finally say our “goodbyes” because of
complications from bladder cancer, but he will remain forever in our
hearts. No other can, nor will, take your place Ceez. Now you are
free of pain and suffering and at peace. Your blanket remains on the
bed and your little sheet is on the floor, just as they always have
been, for you. I know you didn’t want to leave us, and we surely
didn’t want you to go, but we will meet again if it is God’s will.
We all love and miss you so much Ceez!
