Samantha was
known as "Samantha, Queen of Hearts," her pure-bred title. To
us she was the "little captian." She adopted Georgie, our
miniture Yorkshire terrier as her own pup, even though she never
had a litter. She would eat and drop her bits of dog food on
the floor for Georgie to eat (making sure his got his tummy
full). In her younger years she could sit, beg, and roll
over. Her fur was black and felt like mink when you touch it,
even at 16 years of age. Recently we found a little gray Carin
terrier wandering down the road, Samantha became the leader of
the pack. It broke my heart to lose her, but I still feel her
close by. I have attached a picture of her in her older years.
