Clint’s life was free and happy. His recent death to cancer has left a huge void in our lives. He would be taken on nearly daily walks down by the golf course and frequent swims in the Cowlitz River. He loved rides in the car and got to spend the night with us at home on rare occasions when he was recovering from sicknesses and surgeries. He loved to come back to his home at the shop and see his brother, Hanz. He had lots of room to roam inside the fenced area, and he loved to protect his domain with a fierceness that had people believing he was a mean dog. I often called him my Gentle Giant. In spite of his fierceness to strangers, and sometimes his brother, he was truly a gentle spirit. He was nearly as big as I, but wanted to sit on my lap whenever he got a chance. He’ll always be fondly remembered. We miss him so much.
