  Beauty

Beauty was a one-of-a-kind Egyptian "Meow"--a domestic, gray tabby with spots rather than stripes. She had a beautiful little heart shaped face with large green eyes, that sometimes appeared reptilian. When she first came to live with us she wasn't sure she liked the arrangement and was uncharacteristically distant. My granddaughter suggested giving her a collar and bell.
That changed everything--Beauty was very pleased and back to her former affectionate self.
So, anytime she seemed a little down, and with the change of season, or on holidays we would get her new "clothes and jewelry".
