Bootsie was born to a feral mother under our house and lost that mother when she was about 8 weeks old. She quickly decided that she would rather move into the house with our other cats. What a joy she turned out to be! Never could meow properly, but her purr could be heard from the other end of the house. We miss her snuggling, odd whispery vocalizations, reaching for us for petting, and rubbing her soft "bunny" belly. And also that beautiful face with huge leaf green eyes.
