I met Jock at the pound 13 years ago, an Alaskan Malamute mix. He had the sweetest personality and a very sharp mind. Jock was part of the family, sleeping in the bed, eating at the dinner table. Jock loved to run and explore. The beach was his favorite. Jock was so sweet with children. Jock and I could communicate just by giving a certain look at each other. He would have done anything for me. Jock was the star of the neighborhood, making friends on our twice a day walks. Everyone that met Jock commented on how cool of a dog he was. I was very lucky to have him for 13 great years. I miss him, and I always will. His photo hangs on the wall above my desk, watching over me. Perhaps, one day, we shall meet again.
