Lucy wandered into our garage during a snowy November 2008 afternoon, cold, wet, hungry & obviously "lost". We took her in, spent weeks trying to find her family without success. She quickly "adopted" us, and became my little buddy.
She would follow me wherever I went, and sit beside me. Not the typical stand-offish catlike attitude. We found out she had cancer in Apr. 2010, and she died July. Still brings a tear to my eye. Thanks to the 3 WSU grads @ Vista Vet for their care & concern for her.
