I adopted Vladimir over 20 years ago. He was the sweetest boy. We called him “Rat Rau” because that’s often what he said when he talked and he was a big talker. He moved with me, sat next to me when I cried. He was with me when I was single and after I got married and had kids. He was one of my best friends and I still miss him every day.
