Bacall came to us as an eight week old puppy. From the time she arrived in our home, she had "her own mind". She was extremely smart and wanted to be the Alpha dog of the pack. When she was about three years old, we bought a house at the beach. She LOVED the beach. We spent many summers walking on the beach while she would play with her ball. She was a typical ball-possessed golden. She also had two favorite stuffed toys - Piggy and Moo. She would play with them for hours. And she loved to eat. Two of her favorite veggies were avocados and broccoli. The only foods she ever rejected were jello and blueberries. You could always count on her help in the kitchen! She loved her daddy especially! He and she were the best of buddies! She would sit by the window and watch for him to come home if he were traveling. She was the best traveling dog ever! She was a large personality in life and she left a huge hole in our hearts when she departed for the heaven. Run free, "Sugar Britches"! There will never be another one quite like you!
