Maxwell (and his brother Winston who also recently passed) were born on July 4, 2012. They were born to a full-bred Maine Coon Mommy who had snuck out and then became pregnant. There was zero knowledge about the father. We got them from a rescue in White Salmon, WA. Maxwell grabbed our eyes right off. So cute and very lovable. We came for one kitten and left with two!
Maxwell was very lovable and enjoyed being on both our laps. He shared us equally. :) He had a urine crystal problem right away and our vet (Feline Medical Clinic) resolved this right away and then he was on prescription food the rest of his life. He also had a head tremor but that never became an issue.
Max loved to play and he could do a jump and 180° twist 4 feet in the air trying to catch his "prey." In his later years he developed kidney disease and then some neurological issues. We tried a few meds but it was clear he was not a happy camper and we said out goodbyes on May 20, 2024.
We miss The Boys terribly but we have so, so many incredible memories and their unconditional love was second to none. Now Max can play with Winston on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
