Molly

A donation was made in memory of Molly by Dr. Lindsay Hucke on Aug 10, 2010.

This is the memorial of an extraordinary dog who finally lost the battle to pancreatic cancer. She had an excellent veterinarian, Dr. Lindsay Hucke an alumni of WSU who referred her to a special surgeon who attempted to free the cancer but it was down in the main blood arteries and she lost the battle on July 28, 2010

This is about a wonderful companion and best friend named Molly. She was a black lab mix rescued by Terri Young Chadwick in Ann Arbor Michigan. Molly was found on US23 and taken to a no-kill shelter and as a puppy and had a hard start in life. This dog helped raise three children and was the friend who went with me, Terri to Las Vegas, Nevada where we hoped to start a new life. We hiked as a team, we went to California often, and enjoyed the Huntington Dog Beach. We had a special bond that only a few pet owners share. We helped each other thru surgeries.....we laughed, jogged, ate food that was bad for you but every night we went to bed and knew how much we each love one another.

Molly ws born 7/4/00 and died on 7/28/10

Never to be forgotten, we went to Niagara Falls many times, London and Windsor Ontario, Canada. We moved to Northern CA and then moved back within 4 months back to Las Vegas. Molly was more than a companion and best friend, she was our dog. Never to be forgotten. She made a dog lover out of Franklin and to her honor we will always rescue black labs and never forget what a great companion she was.

Franklin And Terri Y.
