A donation was made in memory of Scooter on
Jan 09, 2015.
We got Scooter (and his litter mate Ranger) from my daughter. He was a black and white tuxedo kitty, that up until he passed still had his kitten guard hairs. Scooter loved to climb the screens on our porch. (We never let our kitties outside, we live on a busy street and it is just too dangerous.) Scooter is the only cat I have ever met that was able to move sideways on a screen! Scooter was my office kitty. He loved to spend time with me in my office. I work from home so he was my constant companion. When he wanted attention he would lay between my monitor and the keyboard and start pushing the keyboard off the desk! Who could resist.
My Mom passed in October 2014. A couple of weeks later Scooter was diagnosed with un-treatable lung cancer. I took him on his last vet trip, crying all the way. The vet was wonderful, and Scooter passed quietly and peacefully with me petting him. I so miss my little Scooter. Our vet made a donation to the Pet Memorial in his name, as have I. I have attached a picture of a young Scooter relaxing on the screened in porch.
