Fred was a comedian in a dog suit. He was a 43 lb standard doxi rescue (thus my BFF-Big Fat Fred). He had an uncanny resemblance to an armadillo which my friend purchased for him when she visited from New Mexico. This, as with all Freds photos, were unposed. He without help from anyone could make even the most surly person crack a smile.
