Chaz has been a foundation of our lives for the last 15 years. Born in Rough Rock, AZ in 2004, we adopted Chaz through the Blackhat Humane Society in October 2004. Since that time, Chaz has been on many adventures with us. He has traveled through AZ, NM, CO, UT, OR, MT, all across WA and even to Canada. He has slept in a tent, a yurt, a tiny travel trailer and many Airbnb's and hotels. He has been our running partner, hiking and mountain biking partner and cross country ski partner- we even did a cross country ski race together -the Doggie Dash.
He was terribly frightened of loud noises, and not a fan of the water.... he had no interest in balls or frisbee's and he could not catch a treat tossed in the air to save his life! But he has been an amazing dog and companion. He has tolerated numerous four-legged siblings along with foster dogs and foster cats..... he has been a great brother to many. Chaz is a bit of the quiet type, he has never known a stranger and has been loved by many family and friends.
Thanks to all who have loved Chaz and have helped us take care of him over the years. We will miss him dearly. Hopefully he is off catching a squirrel!
