Kelbie-Keber, for the time that he spent with us (12 years, 4 months and 5 days), was one of the greatest fans of dairy products and sports. Yoghurt, cheese, butter, and perhaps the hands-down favorite: macaroni and cheese, were foods he sniffed in the air and the expression on his face grew wide with anticipation of receiving a small share. Part German Shepard-part Australian Sheep dog, he took the energy his regular food and these treats gave him to the outdoor activities of jumping in the air for a tennis ball, retrieving a stick from the local tennis courts, the daily walk, protecting the house he lived in and kicking and biting at a large blue ball in the later years of his life. He was regal and sweet but also devilish and obstinate. We appreciate the time he spent with us in this world.
